Homeownership

So here is today's topic.... (well at least my response to the comment "time to buy a house")


I honestly have no real desire to own a home I mean maybe it’s the fear thanks to this credit/housing mess but seriously, there are a lot of expenses that go into homeownership that usually get pushed to the side. I mean I hear "your rent is the cost of my mortgage" but really, is it? After utilities, something breaking, upgrades, etc...is homeownership really worth it, especially in this economy?
